The Best Second Hand Shops in Bristol are on Gloucester Road

Our store is no exception. We have a beautiful selection of second hand goods, vintage clothes and used furniture. Gloucester Road is regarded as one of the more bohemian areas of Bristol and is popular for it’s art, music, film scene and second hand shops. It also has the largest number of independent traders on any one road in the UK. It’s worth setting aside an afternoon to tackle this whole street, because it’s a seemingly endless stretch of great clothing stores, cafes, bars, organic food and, one of its staples, charity shops.

Our second hand shop opened its door in May 2011 and has been growing ever since. It was the first of it’s kind – a social enterprise operated entirely by the very people it was set out to help. Second hand shops in Bristol are usually operated by volunteers helping out a cause. We were very quickly welcomed and The Bristol Evening Post even wrote an article about us!

You will find the spirit of the neighbourhood reflected in the eclectic range of items our store has to offer. All this is thanks to the generous donations contributed by the passionate and freethinking people of the area.

Here you can find a range of second hand goods including vinyl records, old books, vintage clothes, second hand children’s clothes and beautifully restored furniture. Looking for something very special and just can’t seem to find it in the second hand shops? Then check out our eBay Shop where we sell very special pieces and vintage items that have been donated to us.

To find out how you can contribute or if you have used furniture you would like to donate we will pick it up for free! Please visit our donations page for more information.
